The Poems, Prose and Musings of Mr Darwin Blake…

That simple phrase.
That sounds so harsh.
You say it through.
Tear filled eyes.
You wipe them off.
Those tears away.
You mean it now.
No more to say.
Pack a bag.
Get out.
Right now.
Leave my house.
My dearest home.
I cut you deep.
You tell me straight.
I stutter.
You say no more.
Hide your face.
I feel I’m evil.
A disgrace.
I can’t go now.
It’s far to late.
The sofa.
Is my late night fate.
I toss.
I turn.
Oh my poor back.
Why am I such.
A simple twat.
I make a cup.
Your favourite tea.
The trick.
I hope.
Will do.
I’ll see.
And if you hug me.
All is well.
And if not.
Here comes my hell.

  1. For what it’s worth, I love the show of vulnerability of this one.

  2. Yes this one is different, but beautiful written nonetheless. I wonder how you do that? Write so effortless, so open and honest, from the heart but still so mysterious. You are an enigma.
